Heatpipe Heatsink
Heatpipe Heatsink
Standard Specifications
Heat Pipe Diameter:
Determines the maximum heat transport capacity and space allowance. Standard sizes range from 4 mm to 12 mm.
Wick Structure:
Essential for returning fluid from the condenser to the evaporator.
- Sintered Powder: Best for high-heat flux (>300 W/cm²) and handles any orientation.
- Grooved: Good for gravity-assisted heat pipes but limited in orientation.
Envelope Material:
Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity (OFHC) copper is the industry standard due to its high thermal conductivity.
